Young Enterprise Scheme
UC Business School is proud to support
The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) in the Canterbury and Top of South regions.
The scheme is an exciting and practical way for young people to learn about the risks and rewards of going into business. YES Enterprise Day (E-Day)
Students at E Day
Central to the School's support of the programme is the sponsorship of the YES Enterprise Day (E-Day). Normally held in late February or early March, E-Day brings around 300 budding entrepreneurs together to launch the Canterbury YES competition for the year.
Hosted by the UC Business School in partnership with the Young Enterprise Trust and CORE Education, E-Day brings together students and teachers from across Canterbury. Product ideas are pitched to advisors and mentors from the UC Business, the Entré team, and experts from the business community. E-Day gives students the opportunity to develop their business ideas, interact with business mentors and meet other competitors.
The 2017 YES Canterbury E-Days were held on 28 February at Rangi Ruru and 1 March at UC.
